Employment Talent Coordinator


 

Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring we hire the best possible talent for all departments and businesses within The Navigators. This position will work jointly with the Talent Acquisition Partner to execute all facets of the recruiting process to ensure success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through supporting and championing recruitment initiatives, systems, and centralized processes. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will also complete the on-boarding process for all new employees.
Responsibilities:

Recruiting

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Partner to assist with the full cycle hiring process for all positions at U.S. Headquarters, Glen Eyrie, Eagle Lake, and International Office.
  • Partner with Employment Experience Manager and HR Administrator to assist/host New Staff/Field Orientation.
  • Support the candidate interview process including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, greeting candidates, and keeping candidate profiles updated in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Build solid relationships with hiring managers and serve as a partner before, during, and after the recruiting process, ensuring best practices and legal compliance.
  • Be proactive in networking, cold-calling, and 'deep diving' into passive candidate networks throughout various markets.
  • Coordinate and conduct first day onboarding for new hires.
  • Create welcome article for each new hire for inclusion in NavWeekly.
  • Work with Employment Experience team members to complete quarterly recruiting and onboarding reporting statistics to the Employment Relations Manager.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisitions Partner to represent The Navigators at Career/Job Fairs throughout the community.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Meet specific recruitment metrics of recruiting process.
  • Participate in Navigators on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Participate in the annual, organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR) process.
  • Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Spiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators. (Knowledge of Navigator missions, ministries, and networks preferred)

Experience:
This role requires strong organization & time management skills with an emphasis on customer service. At least one year of experience in full-cycle recruiting.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Workday HCM and iCIMS preferred.

Communication & Leadership:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required.

Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Understanding of current legislation and legal aspects of recruiting.

Compensation Range: $20.50-26.00/hour
