Job Purpose:
This position works with quality manager to ensure inbound inspection items meet specifications (measurement, labeling, and packaging). This position will require utilization of knowledge in areas of receiving and shipping department, picking/packing, re-packing, manifesting, and materials handling. Position assumes the responsibility for inbound and inventory inspections, shipment review. Assisting with audit preparation and post-audit corrective actions. Position will require good analytical and communication skills (written and verbal), and knowledge of M3, TrackWise, incoming inspection database, Advantum, and other ARJO tools requires for the job. The location where you will be working is Venray.
- Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, and alignment, according to prints, parts manual, company standards, and other specifications.
- Approves or rejects items, verifies reasons for rejection, generates discrepancy reports, and communicates with purchasing department to determine appropriate actions and follow through.
- Helps coordinate the physical and system controls of materials on hold, including material in quarantine. Provides data and documentation to product owners and quality manager to allow for root cause analysis. Inspect, re-label, repackage, scrap or return to factory.
- Oversees with the 3PL, the processes of returns and dispenses materials from the field (parts returns) into appropriate inventory statuses. Coordinates with receiving to ensure materials are unused and salable and unused.
- Assist QA manager with various quality issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform the incoming inspection activities, provide support in general to the 3PL warehouse, if require support the QA manager in the quality management system (QMS) activites, be an active participant on the identified on going Quality Projects
Other:
- Other responsibilities to be assigned by supervisor upon request and previous agreement.
- Build quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements local and global.
Each organization shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure that all activities required by this part are correctly performed and shall establish procedures for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities. Training shall be documented.
- High school diploma, general education degree preffered or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years working experience in a warehouse environment (shipping, receiving, pick-pack, and manifesting)
- Trackwise experience desired
- Experience in the MedTech industry is a plus
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PP, TrackWise, Outlook)
- M3 ERP system
- Knowledge of ISO standards 9001:2015 and 13485:2016
