Tasks

  • As a Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst, you will be a key member of our Managed Vulnerability Management service team based in Greece. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and execute vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts for our clients. You will work closely with the security operations team and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities effectively. As a senior member of the team, you will also be driving process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of our vulnerability management services.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular vulnerability scans and assessments on client environments using industry-leading vulnerability assessment tools
  • Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, business impact, and exploitability
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their infrastructure, applications, and risk tolerance to tailor vulnerability management strategies accordingly
Work closely with the security operations team to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified vulnerabilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior vulnerability analysts to improve their skills and efficiency
  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest security vulnerabilities, exploits, and best practices to enhance the vulnerability management process
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management reports and dashboards for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Participate in client meetings to present vulnerability assessment findings, recommendations, and remediation progress
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Managed Vulnerability Management service through process refinement and automation initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in vulnerability management, with a focus on conducting vulnerability assessments and remediating security issues
  • Proficiency in using vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of common network protocols, operating systems, and application security
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as CVE, CVSS, OWASP, and NIST
  • Experience in identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities based on risk and impact to the organization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar certifications are advantageous
